Spot Addiction in the Clinic and Start Healing
Tragically, there is a pandemic of addiction sweeping the country. It's uncomfortable to talk about, and even more stressful to address. Avoiding the problem only serves to perpetuate consequences impacting business profitability, the national economy and most importantly our families. This course takes a non-judgement compassionate approach to learning how to identify addictions in the clinic, and how to develop a strategy for addressing these tough situations with hope for healing. Safe group guidelines for discussion will be followed, and online working groups will be offer for those interested in additional learning and support upon completion of the course.
Time requirements: 3 hours per week: 2 hour for online meeting, 1 hour for meeting preparation.
Prerequisites: Web camera, microphone and high speed internet connection for online meetings.
Continuing Education Credits: 6 hours. Certificates of completion will be issued.
