Systems Thinking Approach to Practice Management:

A Holistic Approach to Negotiate Conflict and Improve the Bottom Line

Learning to think systemically is key to understanding the work environment from zoomed out holistic approach. Conflict is frequently a failure to appreciate different perspectives because it is hard to grasp the big picture.  When the big picture is mapped out in a facilitated environment, insight is gained on how one area of operations affects another area, and points of leverage for interventions can be discovered.

Topics include:

  • Systems Thinking Definition and Notation
  • Stakeholders
  • Power Interest Grid
  • Dynamic Facilitation
  • Open Space Technology

Time requirements: 3 hours per week:  2 hour for online meeting, 1 hour for meeting preparation.

Prerequisites:  Web camera, microphone and high-speed internet connection for online meeting participation.

Continuing Education Credits: 6 hours.  Certificates of completion will be issued.
